GD Content Tools Pro 5.2: Aeryn

After another set of few minor releases and few months in development and testing, brand new major version for GD Content Tools Pro is ready. Version 5.2 focuses on meta boxes and fields improvements and fixes.

Code names for this plugin, are the characters from my favourite TV show Farscape, and this time, the character used is Aeryn.

GD Content Tools Pro 5.2 is more of a maintenance release, but it completes massive changes to the meta boxes and changes planned before we can go with adding new fields and improving some other fields. In the next few weeks, documentation will be updated with more examples and details of how some complex fields can be customized further.

Support for custom post types is improved with author archives permalinks for custom post types, that will filter posts by author, similar to date based archives for post types. You can set author permalink prefix to use for each post type. This is disabled by default.

This version includes many bug fixes related to meta boxes and fields: problems with the boolean field, problems with some fields in edit mode, the problem with the loop with missing values, some issues with display of images for image field and warning related to missing integration type on edit for the metabox.

If you find any more issues, please use the forum to report them.
