GD Knowledge Base Pro 3.0.1 is a first minor update for the major 3.0 release, bringing a number of updates and fixes, with one new feature related to better themes support in the future.

Theme compatibility is massively improved in 3.0 version, but there is not going to be a way to make theme compatibility 100% effective, some themes simply have inner working that requires fine tuning. One such theme is the Genesis Framework and all themes based on it.  Since Genesis is a very popular choice for website owners, it was important to have proper support for it. Because of it, GD Knowledge Base Pro now includes theme specific libraries that can run PHP code to adjust some aspects of the theme (and this can be disabled through plugin settings), and Genesis support is the first such library in version 3.0.1.

Genesis support now includes proper handling for the theme compatibility mode, regardless of some of the Genesis core settings. Check out the screenshot of the plugin running on News Pro Genesis theme. This new feature requires Genesis 2.0, and it is tested with latest 2.5.2 version.

Other changes include various improvements with the shortcodes and support for Shortcake UI plugin, various improvements with default styling, and fixes related to some of the shortcodes.
