New major release for GD Press Tools Pro is here with version 5.6 (codename Basilisk). This version includes major updates to Google Analytics addon, various backup improvements, updates and fixes.
Built-in Google Analytics addon has been updated to include events tracking. Right now, it can track clicks on email links, downloads (with the adjustable list of extensions), and external (outbound) links.
The built-in Backup addon is updated with the new version of the MySQLPHPDump library with various performance improvements. And, new task type is added for backup of the wp-content directory.
The main shared code library is updated, and it is strongly recommended to update the plugin to this version, especially if you use other Dev4Press plugins. Various JavaScript libraries are updated, and the AirDatepicker is replaced by much better Flatpickr.
Addons for Amazon S3 storage and Dropbox storage are also updated, and they should be used with the new 5.6 version of the plugin due to the shared library changes in this version.
