GD Topic Polls Pro is a brand new Dev4Press plugin for WordPress and bbPress for implementing user created polls in forum topics. The plugin is very easy to use and configure.
GD Topic Polls Pro adds one of more requested features for bbPress powered forums, polls in topics feature that is very popular with other forums software (like Xenforo, phpBB, Vanilla…). Polls can be created by any forum user when adding or editing topics, and you can control which user roles will get this capability. And, only registered and logged in users can vote in the poll. Visitors (not logged in users) can’t vote because there is no reliable way to track them and prevent duplicated votes.
When creating a new poll, the user needs to set the poll question and list of responses, with many more optional settings for description, poll closing terms, showing results, limit who can vote and more. Global plugin settings control various aspects of the integration with bbPress. And, the plugin also adds Topic Views for filtering topics that contain the poll.
