Multi Ratings is the first “addon as a plugin” for GD Rating System Pro. This addon includes two new rating methods for stars ratings and stars reviews using multi rating sets, with accompanying shortcodes and widgets.
As with other rating methods, these new methods come with own widgets, shortcodes, templates, and they support everything standard rating method support. Once major addition is the Multi Series editor allowing you to create new sets of rating elements, each one supporting weighted values for rating calculation.
Each new multi-series behaves as a new rating method, similar to Emote This series. As you can see from the image, each element has weight option and based on it, each element can have higher or lower priority in overall rating calculation.
There are few more things to know: Rich Snippets work with new rating methods, Shortcake UI plugin is also supported. But, built-in dummy data addon, for now, doesn’t support new rating methods.
“Multi Ratings Addon” requires GD Rating System Pro 2.1 or newer, and it will not work with plugins free version. The addon will use the same licensing system as all our plugins do, and it will be included for free in the Dev4Press Club Membership license under the same terms as individual plugins do.
