Development for GD bbPress Toolbox Pro 5.2 is mostly done, and it will be released on Thursday, May 24, 2018, to celebrate the plugin’s sixth birthday on May 27th.
As you may know, GD bbPress Toolbox Pro shares a birthday date with WordPress. One may 27th, WordPress will celebrate the 15th birthday and GD bbPress Toolbox pro with celebrate 6th birthday, so we will (as usual) have a double celebration next Sunday.
Anniversary edition of the GD bbPress Toolbox Pro with version 5.2 brings many new features, almost all based on the feedback from plugin users. Version 5.2 includes following new features:
- Replacement search widget with extra options
- Change the uploads directory to store attachments
- Change roles for using the canned replies
- Hide user profiles from the non-logged visitors
- Show search form on top of the forums/topics templates
And more updates and fixes:
- Improved auto load of CSS/JS files
- Various styling improvements
- Various widgets improvements
