Dev4Press latest plugin GD Power Search Pro for bbPress has been updated, and new version 1.1 is just released, with many updates and fixes, new filter fields and several new translations.
GD Power Search Pro for bbPress is just updated to version 1.1. This version brings 4 new filter fields, all related to other bbPress plugins. Fields added are:
- Polls (from GD Topic Polls Pro/Free plugin) – search posts with topic polls (or without polls)
- Thanks (from GD bbPress Toolbox Pro plugin) – search posts with Thanks (or without Thanks)
- Report (from GD bbPress Toolbox Pro plugin) – search reported posts (or posts that are not reported)
- Attachments (from GD bbPress Toolbox Pro plugin) – search posts with Attachments (or without Attachments)
Due to the way bbPress search works, at least one keyword is required for search to work. But, GD Power Search Pro includes a bit of a hack. If you instead of the keyword search for the character minus or underscore, you will be able to use filters to perform search, without using the keyword.
This version adds new translations (Italian and Polish), updates all other translations too. The plugin now has improved query processing and building, and it also fixes few things, including problem with the SQL JOIN when using tags filter and problem with some filters due to the processing problems in building the query.
