GD bbPress Toolbox Pro includes powerful attachments module that can show attached images as thumbnails and click on the thumbnail will open the image in the full screen. But, you can use Lightbox too.
The plugin supports the use of Lightbox compatible plugins since the very first version because it allows you to set the CLASS and REL attributes to each thumbnail A tag. And, if you already use some Lightbox plugin for WordPress or theme with Lightbox, this will work just fine, and your attachments thumbnails will open in a lightbox, and the user will remain on the same page, improving the website usability.
Today, we are releasing a very small plugin that brings Simple Lightbox implementation into GD bbPress Toolbox Pro, including the lightweight and responsive SwipeBox script. Just install as any other plugins, and activate the plugin alongside with GD bbPress Toolbox Pro, and your attachments thumbnails will be instantly Lightboxed.
This plugin will work only on the bbPress forum pages. And, it can’t work without the GD bbPress Toolbox Pro. Lightbox will appear full screen, with navigation arrow, and X to close it, and caption for the image on top. It will pick up all thumbnails on the page.
This plugin modifies one of the GD bbPress Toolbox Pro settings, so if you already use some other lightbox script and you have configured GD bbPress Toolbox Pro for it, do not use this plugin too.
To download this plugin, you need valid GD bbPress Toolbox Pro license, and you can download from the main download page or your Dashboard Downloads page.

Download the plugin from the Dashboard, and use WordPress Plugin install as with any other plugin. I have not seen any reports that plugin can’t be installed. When you try it, what happens?
