Dev4Press premium plugins for WordPress (and bbPress) family has a new member: GD Members Directory Pro for bbPress. The plugin is very easy to set up and use, and it brings another standard forum feature bbPress lacks users (or members) directory.
The plugin adds a new major page in the bbPress for listing all forums users with filters and ordering options. Here is how the directory looks like (with the GD Quantum Theme Pro for bbPress plugin):
The plugin takes the users slug from bbPress settings and generates the new type of page where the member’s directory is displayed. So, if your forum is set to use ‘users’ slug for Users pages like this:
https://www.example.com/forums/users/username/
Then, the member’s directory will have this URL:
https://www.example.com/forums/users/
Directory page included filters and sorting controls. You can filter the results by user role and an optional keyword for searching the users. Sorting controls include several fields you can use to search users by. The plugin has few settings to control rewrite rules for the directory page, query for listing users and few other things. The plugin also includes a widget for listing members in a similar way as the main directory page does, but will fewer data and with a limited number of users.
The plugin has templates and styling for default bbPress templates and for the templates provided for GD Quantum Theme Pro plugin.
