The Quantum Theme for bbPress has been updated to version 1.5, and this is the biggest update so far, with support for topic/reply forms in popups, new customizer options, improvements and fixes.
One of the most important new features is the many times requested: topic or reply form in the popup. By default, bbPress shows topic and reply forms at the bottom of the page. But, Quantum theme now has options to show these forms inside the popup.
The popup supports the use of TinyMCE editor and any other feature that integrates into the editor forms. This new feature is available on the single forum page where the new topic embedded form is, and on the single topic page where new reply embedded form is. For reply form, this is supported only if the threaded replies are disabled because threaded replies mess with a lot of things, making this approach problematic. Threaded replies in bbPress are a very bad idea anyway, so they are not widely used.
The customizer support is improved with better organization of settings, various new tweaks and improvements.
This version brings a lot of improvements to plugin styling, various styling and layout tweaks, several new templates for extra elements, grey and blue colour scheme and more. This release fixes several important issues related to styling, JavaScript, loading and more.
And, this version continues with the tests with various popular WordPress themes. There are some styling updates and tweaks for Genesis based themes, full support for Divi and Astra and much more. The bad news here is that plugin doesn’t support Avada them because there is no way to control bbPress integration Avada has made fir default bbPress templates.
If you find any issues with the plugin, let me know in the support forums.
