The new major update for User Reviews Addon for GD Rating System Pro, version 3.0 brings support for replacing WooCommerce reviews with User Reviews system, individual reviews rich snippets and more.
After a lot of work and going back and forth, issues with changes in WooCommerce, I can finally release the major update for User Reviews Addon that brings reviews integration into WooCommerce products and replaces default reviews WooCommerce has. To see this integration, you can check out the demo website: store.gdratingsystem.review/shop. This demo doesn’t include any custom coding or any changes, it is completely set using only plugin and addons settings.
This integration runs deep and involves various things including replacement rich snippet for the product, replacing products sorting option to sort by GD Rating System Pro ratings. And, there are plenty of options to configure the integration, including allowing the reviews to product owners only, choose the rating method (image above shows the use of Multi Rating Stars method).
Version 3.0 includes several more important features, including various core updates with new filters, methods for important objects and other improvements. And, to help with the Google search, all reviews now include own Review rich snippet. This version improves the rendering process and the post type rules settings and fixes important bugs related to the case of missing reviews, and the fatal error generated when deleting reviews.
User Reviews Addon 3.0 requires GD Rating System Pro 3.5 or newer, and if you need multi ratings, Multi Ratings Addon 2.4 or newer, it will not work with older versions. If you find any issues, please let me know.
