Last week released version 6.0, so far has proven very stable, but there are few bugs that were discovered after the plugin update has been released, and here is the version 6.0.1 that includes few fixes and enhancements.
One new feature is added this time, to add support for attachments into the new topic form, when that topic form is not displayed inside the forum. When the topic form is displayed using a shortcode outside of the forums, it is not connected to the forum directly, requiring the user to select the forum. In such a case, there is no way for a plugin to determine the forum it belongs to, so various settings related to attachments fail.
The new option allows displaying attachment form inside such topic form, by using global attachments settings. To enable this option, go to Settings -> Attachments -> Advanced -> Topic form integration.
Another major change in this version is the change to the Rich Snippets Feature. Breadcrumbs detection code from 6.0 has been reported to fail in a few instances, usually, if some other plugin makes changes to bbPress breadcrumbs. This has been updated, and detection is now done using regular expressions.
