Finally, GD Quantum Theme Pro 3.0 for bbPress has been released, with two major new features related to the forum index page, and many more other Customizer settings related to various bbPress forum pages.
One of the most requested features this year for the Quantum theme was the ability to change the layout of the main forums (index) page, and show forums group (or categorized) based on the forums parents. This type of layout will work only if you have forums with subforums organization, and it will automatically produce the desired layout.
And, the index page now can show the list of Super Sticky topics, on top or bottom of the page, and you can limit the number of latest super sticky topics to show. This was also an often requested feature. And, the third feature, requested few times and now available, is a set of options to show or hide the auto-generated notices for forums and topics. Because of that, the settings on some of the Customizer panels have been reorganized and improved.
And, version 3.0 includes several more new features:
- Improved organization of customizer options with new panel and more information included.
- Various improvements and fixed to the default styling.
- Plugin now uses latest Dev4Press Library 3.6.
- Plugin is updated to use latest SCSSPhp 1.7 Library.
