Brand new version 3.1 of GD Topic Prefix for bbPress is now available, and it includes many new features as requested by plugin users over the past month or so, with additional updates and important fixes.
All of the new features in this version are requested by plugin users, and I think that these features add greatly to the usability of the plugin. The first major change is the prefix editor that now contains option to assign the prefix to the group. Also, list of prefixes page now shows groups that each prefix belongs to.
As for the groups editing, there are two new options available: user roles control for the prefix visibility (you can now hide prefixes from users, and maybe show them to moderators only), and you can choose what is displayed in the prefix selection control. Finally, new update includes support for showing prefixes for topics inside the search results.
The new version includes various updates, and it also features an important core change – switches to the latest version of Dev4Press Shared Library. As for the fixes, there are a few of those, including minor issues with the initialization for the list of topics, and problems with the forum manager plugin bulk editing.
