Major update for WordPress, version 6.0 will be released later this month, and it is the right time to revisit all the Free and Lite plugins Dev4Press has on WordPress.org, test them and update for the new WordPress release.
The last week has seen all the plugins getting updates, some minor, but some have received major updates in the anticipation of the new WordPress. Here is the list of all free and lite plugins on WordPress.org that have been updated.

Major Updates
- ArchivesPress 2.2: updated all the block editor dependencies
- BreadcrumbsPress 2.0: major updates carried from the Pro version
- DebugPress 1.9: updated pretty print Kint library
- SweepPress 1.4: few updates to the admin interface
- GD Forum Manager for bbPress 2.2: major changes to plugin load process
- GD Members Directory for bbPress 2.3: updated shared library
- GD Rating System 3.5: various updates and improvements
- GD Topic Polls 2.0: major update from the Pro version base
The plugins with blocks: ArchivesPress and BreadcrumbsPress, both have been updated and tested with the new Block Editor, and with the Full-Screen Editing, and work as expected (that can’t be really said for the WordPress FSE right now – it is still quite bad, confusing and barely usable, and only for some simpler stuff). All tests are done with WordPress 6.0 RC2 version.
