As we are closer to the end of 2023, many Dev4Press plugins have received major and minor updates this week. This includes many bbPress-related plugins, some new Core plugins, and more.
The updates made in the last two weeks are aimed at two main things: testing with the latest WordPress, testing with PHP 8.3, and updating to the latest shared Dev4Press Library 4.5. All updated plugins have updated system requirements to require PHP 7.4 and WordPress 5.8. Testing with older PHP and WordPress versions is not done anymore, and while plugins may continue to work with older PHP and WordPress versions, these are no longer supported. The good news is that all updated plugins are fully compatible with PHP 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3! A lot of work was done last year and at the start of this year to make plugins PHP 8.2 compatible, and now, with PHP 8.3, everything is also working without any issues.
For the next week, only one release remains: GD bbPress Toolbox Pro 7.4, and the updates released include:

GD bbPress Toolbox Pro 7.4 is coming early next week, and that will be last update for this year. Check out the ‘A Year in Review’ post coming later today, and it will give you some insight into what’s planned for the next year too.
Until the end of February, the only significant development will be dedicated to coreSecurity Pro and the upcoming bbPress moderation plugin (still on track for the late February release). Bug fixes for any plugin will be released as needed.
