A new update for GD Knowledge Base Pro, version 5.3, is here, mainly dealing with the PHP-related updates, the integration of the new Dev4Press Library 3.9, updated blocks build packages, and some minor bug fixes.
This new plugin version has new system requirements: WordPress 5.5 or newer, PHP 7.3 or newer. The plugin is tested with PHP 8.0, 8.1, and 8.2. Still, if there are issues with the new PHP versions, please report them through support forums.
Version 5.3 is smaller in scope, but an important release, with an updated shared code library that brings significant updates to the plugin admin side interface in almost every area, including the dashboard, settings, and more. The plugin also includes many updates and fixes related to PHP 8.x compatibility.
When it comes to Block Editor blocks, the plugin packages are updated to the latest version, and all the blocks are rebuilt with these updated packages and libraries. There are no changes to the blocks features or functionalities this time.
