coreActivity 1.6 is a brand new release, the first one from Dev4Press in 2024. This version brings device detection from user agents, various improvements and tweaks, an updated Dev4Press Library, and several bug fixes.
The plugin now includes a device detection library, and it can get device or bot information from the user agent. Yes, the user agent can be spoofed, but it is still useful data to have when analyzing logs. There are new options for logging device detection data and the option to show the column with detection data (as shown in the image below).

There are many changes under the hood, including more information about some settings, expanded setup wizard, and more. The Dev4Press Library has been updated to the latest 4.6 version. And there are several bugs fixed.
