coreSecurity Pro 1.3

Version 1.3 is a big update for coreSecurity Pro, bringing one new major feature, support for Spamhaus DNSBL, many improvements to the Antispam and Registration Control features, and various other updates and improvements.

The new major new feature is Vulnerabilities. This feature will run daily and weekly checks for all known and public vulnerabilities in PHP, WordPress, Plugins, and Themes running your website. If possible, the plugin will get detailed information for each CVE-reported vulnerability to show severity, score, and other important information, and each vulnerability report will be linked to the source. Notices about the status of the vulnerability will include affected versions and other important stuff, including information about the updates and steps to resolve vulnerabilities.

This feature is integrated into the WordPress Plugins panel (and multisite network Themes panel) to show information about vulnerable plugins affecting versions you run on your website. The information is presented in great detail on the dedicated Vulnerabilities panel. And vulnerabilities are integrated into the WordPress Site Health panel, too, with a few more plugin features planned for such integration in the future.

The plugin now supports the use of Spamhaus DNSBL to check both IPs and email domains. It is integrated into Antispam checks and the Registration Control. The plugin dashboard is expanded with new widgets for Banned IPs and vulnerabilities. Various lists used by firewall, registration control, and antispam features have been updated, and over 20 new entries have been added. Various other things have been updated, and a few fixes are included.

Plugin documentation has been updated, including the Ultimate Guide to coreSecurity Pro. Please let me know if you have more suggestions for plugin features and improvements. Leave a comment here or in the forum.
