GD Press Tools Pro 6.3

The new release for GD Press Tools Pro, version 6.3, brings a few minor updates; it is tested with the latest WordPress and PHP versions. And, Dropbox and S3 addons are also updated.

GD Press Tools was released 15 years ago, with the Table 1.0 version released on March 21, 2009. It is unreal that it has been 15 years since the GD Press Tools was released and how many versions and changes it has gone through. In the past few years, GD Press Tools Pro has not seen much development, and some of the features have been removed from it. The current trends make plugins like GD Press Tools Pro outdated, and for various reasons, there are features that are better off as individual plugins, and that’s why DebugPress and SweepPress plugins exist.

Still, I use GD Press Tools Pro on all my websites even today, and the plugin is stable and working well. This time, version 6.3 has been updated and tested with the latest WordPress and PHP versions. Legacy Google Analytics support has been removed since Google no longer has it active, but new GA4 support still exists in GD Press Tools Pro.

Both addons used for backup offloading are updated with the latest SDK libraries for Dropbox and Amazon S3, and it is essential to update both these addons to make sure they work properly with PHP 8.1+.

To see the list of all the changes in this version, please check out the changelog. If you find any issues with the new version, please, report them in the support forums.
