A new update for the Quantum Theme plugin for bbPress brings a few more options for user profile navigation, a new version of the shared library, and the first stage of overhauling the settings handling to come in 4.0.
The user profile now has two more options in Customizer: the option to show short labels for tabs to save space and the option to remove the engagements tab and page completely. The styling and resizing of the tabs for the user profile have been improved and updated to fix some styling issues and improve display on smaller devices.

Major work has started for the next 4.0 version, and version 3.9 is preparing the ground for it. The plan is to have all settings from Customizer available in the admin side settings so that plugin use can stop depending on the use of Customizer. If the Customizer is available, plugin will sync settings between the two, if not plugin main settings will be main setting. There will also be an option to disable Customizer support.
For now, version 3.9 introduces some code refactoring and a new layer for handling settings and improves the Customizer object for the use of settings.
Version 4.0 is not yet scheduled for development and release, but hopefully, it will be ready in the next few months. Until then, let me know if you have some suggestions for the next major update, or if you run into any issues with the latest changes.
