SweepPress Pro, version 5.5, is here. It brings several new features related to CRON Control (both detection and panel) and the main Sweep panel (options to deal with the cached estimates quickly).
The new version improves the CRON detection process by adding support for regular expressions in the list of predefined CRON jobs. This will simplify the detection, especially for plugins or components with many different CRON jobs. The CRON Control panel’s identification of the CRON source type and activity is also improved.
The main Sweep panel has a few changes related to using the estimation cache. The panel sidebar has a link to clear the estimation cache without opening the Tools panel. Any sweeper with an estimation from the cache has a link to refresh the cache for that sweeper. If you make changes to the website that need to be quickly reflected in specific sweeper estimates, this is the quickest way to do that without invalidating all the cached data. And for sweepers that can keep the newest data (up to the limit of days configurable in the plugin settings). This message is added to avoid confusion some users had with the plugin sweeping the data and still having part of the old data in the database.
Regarding the Lite plugin and Freemius Pro versions, they will be released soon but will be delayed by a few days to properly test the changes and deployment of the Freemius Pro version.
