GD Topic Polls for bbPress has been renamed to topicPolls for bbPress; this is the first GD plugin to get a new name, but not the last. Other than that, plenty of very important changes are under the hood.
The GD Topic Polls plugin was not updated in a while, and now that has changed in a big way: The plugin is the first one with the GD prefix to be renamed to a new name, with all other plugins to follow in the coming months. More on that will be announced in the next few days. topicPolls Pro 4.1 for bbPress now requires license code activation. If the license is not added, the plugin will behave like the Lite version, with various features disabled. This has already been done for many plugins over the past year, and you can find the license codes on the Dev4Press account dashboard.
This is also the first plugin to load our shared library through Composer and place it inside the vendor directory. The plugin has been heavily refactored under the hood, and there are many changes in code organization and the loading process. Finally, the plugin is tested with upcoming WordPress 6.7 and upcoming PHP 8.4 and is fully compatible with both.
Last thing: later this week, the Lite version of the plugin will be updated and switched to Freemius integration.
