GD Power Search for bbPress is the next in line for rebranding, getting a major under-the-hood update, and integrating with Freemius. The new plugin name has been shortened to powerSearch for bbPress.
The new plugin version has been thoroughly tested with the latest PHP 8.4 and WordPress 6.7. Under the hood, the plugin now uses composer to load shared Dev4Press Library and Freemius SDK. As with previous Freemius integrations, the plugin will still have a version without Freemius for anyone with the existing Dev4Press license. The Pro version can be installed and used without a license code and will be reverted to the Lite version features.
Plugin settings have been reorganized and updated, and significant parts of the plugin have been refactored. The main stylesheet and JavaScript files have been improved, the overall styling has been updated, and plugin loading and initialization have been improved.
