Important update: bbPress 2.6.11

After a long wait, new minor update for bbPress 2.6 is now available, and it is highly recommended to update your website to this latest version of bbPress as soon as possible.

Version 2.6.11 comes 2 and a half years after previous 2.6.9, and it fixes 13 bugs. I have contributed couple of fixes to this release. Several of included fixes are very important to the way the bbPress works and it is essential to update your website to this latest release as soon as possible.

When it comes to Dev4Press plugins for bbPress, I have done a lot of testing, and there are few reports coming through the support forums and my email. So far, the only serious issue is related to the bbPress search (discovered because of the GD Power Search plugin). I have reported bug in bbPress related to search, and added fix too, so it is possible that another minor update will be coming out soon.

GD Power Search Pro and Lite have been already updated, and other bbPress plugins will follow, if needed. It is important to know that GD Power Search includes a patch for bbPress search problem that is not yet fixed in bbPress! For now, there is no need for new updates. If you find any issues with bbPress or in relation to our plugins for bbPress, you can report them in the support forums.
