Dev4Press website update is coming

After months of development, the new Dev4Press website is scheduled for a live update on Sunday, August 29, 2021. That whole day, the Dev4Press website will be mostly under maintenance until the whole process is done.

To minimize the maintenance downtime, the website update will be done on Sunday, and for the whole time, the maintenance message will be visible. The process will take some time because this update is not simply replacing the theme(s), it involves database data transfer, files transfer, and much more.

Example of the new plugin page

As previously previewed, the new website is powered by the GeneratePress Pro theme and GenerateBlocks Pro plugin, with a new plugin developed for this website for adding new Gutenberg Editor blocks. The new website doesn’t use Classic Editors, shortcodes, or Classic Widgets anywhere.

Also, I do expect few smaller downtime periods over the week after the update to fix some things that I maybe missed during the testing phase. Hopefully, everything would go smoothly on Sunday, and the subsequent downtimes will be rare.

Please wait...
