In about two weeks WordPress 5.5 will be released. This version includes a lot of changes and new features, and it requires that plugins depending on those get updates before the 5.5 is actually released.
Dev4Press plugins are tested with all the Beta versions of WordPress 5.5, and several plugins are already released ready for new WordPress (GD Press Tools Pro, GD Security Toolbox Pro, GD bbPress Toolbox Pro, GD Rating System Pro), but few more plugins are expected to be released in the next couple of days with direct support for some of the WordPress changes that affect them.
Here are the most important updates coming out soon.
GD Mail Queue Free/Pro
Both the free and pro versions of GD Mail Queue will get a new major update supporting WordPress 5.5 changed PHPMailer library.
GD SEO Toolbox Pro
WordPress 5.5 adds native sitemaps support, but GD SEO Toolbox Pro has a much better and highly configurable sitemaps feature, and it will also get a new tweak to disable sitemaps added by the WordPress.
GD Content Tools Pro
This plugin will get support for several new features introduced in WordPress 5.5 related to post types and taxonomies.
Other Plugins
Most of the plugins will get updates in the next few weeks, depending on the final round of testing using the latest Beta and RC versions of WordPress 5.5.
