GD Topic Polls Pro 2.0 (code name Ra) is a new major release that brings new plugin dashboard, new about page, instant notifications and daily digest notification with many more updates and improvements.
GD Topic Polls Pro continues the wave of changes to the plugin interface started with GD Knowledge Base Pro 3.0 and refined with GD bbPress Toolbox Pro 5.0: new dashboard and about panels and small updates to the interface used icons and few more things.
Major new feature in this version is the notifications system that currently includes instant votes notifications and daily digest notifications. By default, notifications are disabled. You can enable the notifications system, and additionally, enable daily digest notifications.
Instant notifications can be sent to poll author ( the author has new option to enable notifications when creating/editing poll, and this option is also hidden by default). And, via global notification settings, you can enable sending instant notifications to all users with moderator capability. Any time vote is recorded, notifications will be sent including poll name, URL, vote. Daily digest notifications are sent once each day for votes recorded previous day. If enabled, poll authors can enable digest for each own poll. Digest includes information about all polls with votes and list of responses and number of votes.
Other changes in this version include additional elements for poll results: display of total votes and voters, option to show votes and percentages for each response, options to setup default poll responses used when a new poll is created. There are many more new filters and actions. Shared code Dev4Press Library is updated and Flatpickr library is updated too.
