GD Mail Queue 5.0 Pro

A new major plugin version brings digest notifications about statistics and emails sending errors, various queue improvements, new queue panel, various other improvements, and several bug fixes.

Version 5.0 takes the mail processing a step further with various improvements to the queue system, with new options to make plugin recoverable from the server-side errors happening during the queue sending emails, reorganized settings to make it easier for users to find what they need and more.

Email with the statistics notification

The plugin now can send two types of notifications. You have email sending statistics sent as daily and weekly digest containing the information about sent emails, queue executions, and more. And, you have an email with logged sending email errors sent as daily and weekly digest. And, all these notifications are sent using the queue.

Quick overview of logged errors is also available on the plugin dashboard, with option to clear the error board, and next time you will see new errors if any is logged.

One of the complaints about the plugin settings was that they were somewhat confusing when it comes to the settings for individual SMTP services and engines. Now, PHPMailer and all individual SMTP services share the same settings page, you will see SMTP service settings only if you select that service for the PHPMailer sending. There are few more changes in the settings organization aiming to help you find settings quickly.

This version includes a wide range of changes and improvements to various areas of the plugin. It also includes some basic preparation for some new major features planned for future versions. Also, there are a number of bug fixes included, related to REST API’s, SMTP services, and more.

To see the list of all the changes in this version, please check out the changelog. If you find any issues with the new version, please, report them in the support forums.
