It has been a while since the last major update, and coreSocial Pro version 3.0 is now ready. It includes many changes, improvements, new features, an updated shared library, and various fixes.
The changes are focused on both the Share and Profiles portions of the plugin. Many new sharing options related to how the share URLs are generated, used, and logged allow for better flexibility with archives and searches. Online network count retrieval is massively improved, and several new settings are available for better control. The Twitter share network has the option to use the new X icon instead of the classic Twitter Bird icon.

When it comes to profiles, block for profiles has a lot of new settings, rendering changes, and styling improvements. Now, followers count can be displayed, there are various styling improvements, better alignment, displaying profiles in columns and more. When it comes to followers: plugin can’t get followers counts from the networks!!! To have followers displayed, you need to add the counts to the profile settings. At this time, almost no network has API support to return valid count of followers, and implementing it is very complicated, requires API libraries use, App setups for networks and much more.

The plugin uses the latest Dev4Press Shared Library, has an improved interface, and adds the License Code settings (currently, the license is not enforced, but it will be soon). There are many more updates and changes, including fixes for several importing bugs: validation of AJAX calls, profile icons styling, the floating bar not always showing counts on change, and the dashboard statistics not showing correct values.
Let me know what you think about the new version and what you want to see in future updates.
